Visitors take the elevator to the observation deck for a glorious view of the Lake Erie Islands and the historic battle site. The 352' tall memorial is open daily late April thru mid-October, winter visits by appointment. The newly constructed welcome center, opened in May of 2002, offers interactive displays, historic memorabilia, a video theatre, a small gift shop, and live web-cam shots of the monument and island. Adults $3; 16 yrs old and younger: free, must be accompanied by an adult.
